Summer Song Leader
Surprise Lake Camp located in New York is seeking a dynamic, experienced song leader to lead campers in both jewish and secular singing sessions throughout the summer.
This position is full-time for the summer (June 20- August 21).
This position includes room and board for the summer as well as the option for reduced camp tuition for children of hired employees.
When not on duty, staff have the opportunity to enjoy our beautiful camp grounds which include our gorgeous lake, pool, and other top-notch facilities.
SLC provides a competitive salary based on experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION FOR SONGLEADER Experience working with children Responsible for leading groups in Jewish and secular singing sessions Responsible for assisting at roundups and giving staff the tools to run them Develop a culture of song and ruach troughout camp Participate in Friday night and Saturday morning Shabbat services Serve as relief coverage as needed.
